A phobia is an excessive, unreasonable fear of an object, place or situation.

Phobias are extremely common and the majority can be treated effectively in most cases with one or two sessions of Hypnotherapy.

Phobias are usually accompanied by physical reactions of anxiety, and under hypnosis it is possible for you to control your anxiety level in a safe environment.

Psychoanalysts believe that phobias develop as a result of deeply buried early traumas.

These hidden and repressed traumas are hidden by the subconscious mind.

Traumas are very powerful emotionally and they influence the conscious mind, presenting the traumas in a disguised form - the phobia.

With hypnotherapy there is no need to face the "spider" etc. in real life.

Phobias tend to respond well to hypnotherapy and we can usually reduce phobias to an acceptable level of anxiety.
